Thomas John ?T.J.? Pepper
Funeral services for Thomas John ?T.J.? Pepper, 6, of Tatum will be held at 2 PM Thursday, July 29, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church in Tatum with the Reverend Kyle Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in Tatum Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at the funeral home.
?T.J.? was born on December 16, 1997 in Longview to Mark and Jennifer Pepper.  He passed away on Monday evening, July 26, 2004 at Truman W. Smith Children?s Care Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
A lifelong resident of Tatum, ?T.J.? attended the Tatum Primary School and was a member of Living Waters Christian Center Assembly of God.
?T.J.? was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother, Dorothy Boynton; and paternal great grandparents, Hank Iloff, & Raymond & Willie Belle Pepper.  Those left to cherish memories of ?T.J.? are, his parents; sister, Cynthia Pepper; cousin, Anna Hyde; maternal grandparents, Hollis & Rachel Anderson; paternal grandparents, T.A. & Cindy Pepper all of Tatum; maternal great grandfather, Richard Brink of Lunenburg, VT.;  paternal great grandparents, Bill & Tillie Smallwood of Liberty City; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to express a very heart felt ?Thank You? to Taste of the Oil Patch, Neal McCoy and his Band, Angel Network, Taylor?s Angels, Clayton Dabney Foundation, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Kirvard INC., Living Water Christian Center, Tatum United Methodist Church, and Crown KIA of Longview along with all of the other friends and family who have been so generous with gifts, prayers, and support.
