I just wanted to take the time to thank each of you who sent flowers, brought food, and took time out of your busy schedules to call, write, and/or attend the visitation and graveside memorial. It meant alot to our family. We miss our dad very much, and with Father's Day coming up will be another reminder that he is no longer here. Daddy used to joke that when he died he would have to pay people ahead of time to come to his funeral. He would have been very honored to see all the friends who came to pay their respects. Fortunately, he made several CDs and cassette tapes of his music with his various bands, so we will still be able to hear him sing and play anytime we want. He was a loving father, grandfather, and also a good friend to all of his family. We will miss his laugh, his sense of humor, and even arguing with him over who was right in any given conversation. Those of you who knew him very well knew he always thought he was right and he always had to have the last word. Again, thank all of you. Our faith in God will help us to get through this difficult time and help us to deal with the emptiness that has been left in our hearts.
