Funeral Services for Thomas F. Capps, 66, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, December 11, 2001 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Murphy Walker and Norman Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
Mr. Capps was born October 16, 1935 to Mark and Audrey Capps. He passed away on Saturday evening, December 8, 2001 in a Longview hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Mr. Capps was retired from the United States Postal Service, and has been in the Longview area for the past 33 years.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Capps is survived by his wife, Bobbie Capps of Longview, daughters and sons-in-law Cathy and Paul Meadows, Audrey and Terry Dahlman, sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Julie Capps, John Capps, Dennis and Lupi Woolf, Robert Woolf, John Woolf, mother, Audrey O. Capps, sister, Sue and Van Tucker, brother, Charles and Connie Capps, 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews..
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday evening, December 10, 2001 at the funeral home.
