Thomas Eynon 's Obituary
Thomas Bernard Eynon was born February 13, 1971, and went to be with his Lord on May 31, 2014 as a result of a tragic auto accident. He was raised in Rochester, MN; Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and Austin, TX. He attended Texas Tech University and then graduated with a DC from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Caroline, daughters Keira, Kennedy, and Ashlyn, his parents, Caroline's parents, his two brothers and their families, and Caroline's brother and sisters and their families. He was preceded in death by sons Evan and Isaac. His son, Aiden, also joined Daddy in heaven a few days later as a result of the same accident.
As a young boy, everyone knew him as 'Tommy'.
Tommy had boundless energy and never met a stranger. He accepted Jesus as his Saviour at an early age and brought joy to all those around him. He was either playing with his brothers, playing with his friends, or playing with his dogs, but no matter what, he was always a kind, big-hearted, cooperative, helpful, and selfless boy.
To Caroline, he was 'Love'.
He was my knight in shining armor, the twinkle in my eye, my rock and strength in trying times, and my source of laughter all the time...he was my true love, and I know that I was his.
To his children, he was 'Daddy'.
Daddy was always caring for us, checking on us, protecting us, entertaining us, supporting us, singing with us, working hard for us, cheering for us, providing for us, playing with us, being an example for us...loving us.
To his many nieces and nephews, he was 'Uncle Tom', the fun uncle!
Uncle Tom was always coming up with funny sayings and doing silly things that made us laugh. We had so much fun every time we were with him and couldn't wait until the next visit.
To his friends, he was 'Tom'.
Tom made us all feel like we were his very best friend. He was ever thoughtful and empathetic, dropping whatever he was doing at the time in order to help us whenever we needed him. Tom was the one guy who could always get us to smile no matter what kind of day we were having. Bad days turned to good days after being around our best friend, Tom.
To his wonderful office staff and all of his patients, he was 'Dr. Eynon', celebrated chiropractor across all of East Texas.
We loved working for Dr. Eynon (we actually called him 'Dr. Tom'). He made our office a one-of-a-kind place for the patients of course, but we also felt truly appreciated, valued, and loved every day, and were so proud to be a part of his work family.
And we were actually more than just patients to Dr. Eynon. His gentle compassion for us came through every time we saw him, but especially in times when he came to our homes to treat us when we couldn't get up, or when he met us at his office after hours because we hurt too badly to sleep. He provided hope and encouragement for us both physically and spiritually.
Thomas Bernard Eynon lived who he truly was, and was truly living for Jesus. We will all miss you and can't wait for the day we see you again in heaven.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13 at 10 am at Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview. A visitation will be held the night before between 5 and 7 pm at Fellowship Bible Church on North McCann in Longview.
