Thomas D. Jones' Obituary
Thomas Duane Jones, 75, of Longview, TX, died May 9, 2011 at 12:05p.m. At Good Shepherd Hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1936 at Hallsville, TX and finished school there in 1954. He entered the US Army and served from 1954 thru 1957 as a Specialist 1st Class turret mechanic, 69th Battalion. He worked 30 years for Dresser Industries, Dallas, TX and Eunice, LA. He retired in 1995 as Vice-President of Manufacturing.
He is survived by wife Judith Ann Thomas Jones; daughter Jennifer Ann Gardner, son-in-law Christopher Gardner, grandson Luke Gardner, and granddaughter Carrie Gardner of Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Avis Eldridge Jones and Floyd Jackson Jones. Memorial services will be held at 2:00p.m., Sat., May 14, Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
