Thomas Brooks Parker's Obituary
Funeral services for Thomas Brooks Parker, 83, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 26, 2002 at the First Baptist Church of Tenaha, Texas with Loy Scoggins officiating. Interment will be in Restland Cemetery, Tenaha, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He died Wednesday, October 23, in Longview
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Parker was born September 1, 1919 in Tenaha, Texas, and had been a resident of Longview for the past 15 years. He a retired supervisor from Lufkin Industries with over 25 years of service. Mr. Parker, a veteran of the United States Air Force, was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the Alpine Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean McFadden Parker, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Vickie Parker of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Brooksie Lee and Loy Scoggins of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Bryan Clayton Parker and Brandon Parker, both of Longview, Milton Scoggins, David Scoggins, Sarah Glass and Mark Scoggins, all of Nacogdoches 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
