Theresa Kay Summers' Obituary
Theresa Kay Summers age 52 of Hallsville passed away July 31, 2015. She was born in Longview February 10, 1963 to Gene and Emma Palmer. Growing up she lived in Hallsville and attended local schools there. One day Theresa met one strapping Michael "DOOGLE" Summers while he was hauling hay in the fields. It was some years later on August 17, 1994 they were married.
Theresa loved nature and the great outdoors including fishing, horseback riding, and especially camping. However nothing was as dear to her heart as her family and caring for her children and everyone else's.
Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 21 years Michael “DOOGLE” Summers, one son Cheyenne Summers, one daughters Paige Burkett and her husband Chase “Chester” and a beloved grandson Ryder Burkett. Also her parents Gene Palmer and Emma Bowlden, two sisters Anita Bridges and Lora Allen, a brother Gene Palmer, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10 am at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. There will be a time of visitation 1 hour prior to the service starting at 9 am. Interment will follow the service at Hallsville Cemetery.
