Theo L. Meissner
Graveside services for Theo L. Meissner, 82, of White Oak will be held at Two O'clock pm Tuesday April 29, 2008 at the White Oak Cemetery with Reverend Bill Voss officiating. Interment will follow in White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Meisnner passed away Saturday April 26, 2008 in Longview.
Mr. Meissner was born July 27, 1925 in Richland, Texas to Theo and Zelma Patterson Meissner. He had been a resident of White Oak since 1933, where in September 26, 1945 he married Mary Louise Mason. He was a retired shift foreman for Petrolite in Kilgore for 40 years. He was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church and a charter member of the White Oak Lions Club and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He loved his family very much.
He is survived by his wife of 62, years Mary Meissner of White Oak, sons Truman Meissner and wife Dorthea of Killeen, and David Meissner of White Oak, grandson, Chase Meissner of Dallas, granddaughter, Robin Johnson and husband David of Mesquite, TX.; great-granddaughter, Sophie Johnson of Mesquite and great-grandson, Caleb Johnson also of Mesquite.
He was preceded in death by his parents Theo and Zelma Patterson Meissner
Memorial contributions may be made to the White Oak Baptist Church

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday April 28, 2008 from 6pm-8pm.
