Graveside services for Thelma Elizabeth Jones, 90, of Longview will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Memory Park Cemetery with the Reverend David Badders officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Tuesday, December 22, at Margaret?s House in Longview.
Mrs. Jones was born January 12, 1919 in Quitman, TX to James and Luella McIntosh Trotter and was a longtime resident of Longview. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John C. Jones; daughter, Janice Jones; and 2 brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Boedeker of Richardson and Joyce and Ross Eaton of Carthage, MO; son, Ronnie Jones of Longview; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister, Ola Bell Roebuck of Paris, TX.
