Terry Walter Jones' Obituary
Terry Walter Jones was called to his heavenly home on December 22, 2021, at the age of 72. Terry was born on May 17, 1949, to Curtis and Hazel Jones. He was a kind and loving man who touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. He loved Christ and shared his love of Him with anyone who cared to listen. He was a carpenter by trade, and in his early years owned Terry’s Tropical Fish in Kilgore, Texas. He met his wife, Ann, and his daughter, Shirley, in 1984 and chose to love them as his own forever in April of 1985. Since then, he enjoyed his life as a loving husband and father.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Vibbard Jones, his father, Curtis Walter Jones, and many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. Terry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ann Ruth Jones of Longview, TX and his daughter, Shirley Natocha Johnson of Natchitoches, LA, and his beloved dog, Cookie.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Highland Park Baptist Church at 2424 S Henderson Blvd, Kilgore, TX 75662 Kilgore, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover medical bills and living expenses for the surviving spouse are appreciated. A Venmo account has been set up for any donations @Ann-Jones-222.
