My Uncle Terry was special to me from a very young age. He saved me when I was about three years old and being held underwater in the pool by a rogue floatie toy. Then, years later, he taught me to water ski even when I was afraid and didn't think I could do it. I remember teasing him about his southern accent and him teasing me about my "Norhooskie Nort-Dakota" way of speaking. I remember a man full of laughter and generosity and a love of life. I am grateful for these memories and glad to know he's now with my grandparents in Heaven.
