Teresa Lynn Kinney Pena's Obituary
Teresa Lynn (Kinney) Pena, age 44, of El Paso, Tx. formerly of Hallsville, TX. passed away on March 8, 2021. Born in Houston, Texas on June 7, 1976, she was the daughter of Glenn and Brenda Kinney
She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Pena, daughter Kaitlynn Christine Newman and grandson Damon Arcadious Mendoza.
She graduated from Hallsville High School in 1994. Teresa attended El Paso Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She preferred working with the elderly citizens in the Nursing Homes. In November she contracted the Covid 19 virus and being a diabetic it took a toll on her body. Teresa recovered and continued to fight on, working her last shift the day before God called her home.
She is also going to be missed by aunt Debbie Connell, aunt Peggy Anderson and Uncle Kenny Guidry and her many cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 18th from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. at Rader Funeral Home located at 1617 Judson Road, Longview, TX.
Graveside service will be at Sardis Edgefield Cemetery on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Noon.
Sardis Cemetery is located southwest of Rusk. Take FM 1857 and go about 8 miles. Turn right on CR 2218. The cemetery is on the right about .2 of a mile.
