Floydie Mae "Tenker" Frost
Funeral services for Floydie Mae "Tenker" Frost, 81, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with the Reverend Birne Wiley officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. She passed away Saturday, April 14, at Margaret's House in Longview.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Frost, the sixth of seven children, was born April 19, 1930 in Longview to Floyd S. and Pauline Deutsch Adams, and was a lifetime resident. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, and loved to cook and sew. She was an avid Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Mrs. Frost was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Tommie Walter Frost, Jr., daughter, Cynthia Frost Howard; and all 6 of her siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Francine Aguirre of Houston, Walter Frost of Longview and Toni Johnson and husband David of Conroe; grandchildren, Candace Noll, Ryan Frost, Amy Cocke, Grant Johnson, Keri Johnson, Adam Aguirre and Kellie Aguirre; great grandchildren, Trinity Noll, Austyn Noll and Beau Frost; and a aunt, Inez Deutsch.
