Templeton Altman ''T.A.'' Thompson's Obituary
A rosary for Templeton Altman ''T.A.'' Thompson, 80, of Longview, will be recited at 6PM Friday evening, March 8, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Rd. and Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon Saturday, March 9, in the Chapel of the Rader Funeral Home with Father Denzel Vithanage officiating.  Entombment will follow in Lakeview Mausoleum.
Mr. Thompson was born March 20, 1921 in Erath County, Texas to Wiley and Opal Thompson.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was retired from the U. S. Air Force as Lt. Colonel.
He served his country from 1942 until 1971.
Mr. Thompson is survived by son and daughters-in-law, Charles E. and Marlynn Thompson of Athens, TX, Jeffrey Scott and Joan Thompson of San Antonio, TX.; daughter and son-in-law, Janet Lynn and Leo Speckman of San Marcos, TX; brother, Brad Thompson of Stephenville, TX; 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a number of neices and nephews.
