Ted Garrett's Obituary
Ted Garrett, 79, formerly of Longview was born on May 30, 1931, in Bettie, Texas. He peacefully went to be with our Lord with his family at his side on December 29, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Services will be on Monday, January, 3, 2011 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Pastor Guy McGraw officiating. Mausoleum entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Mausoleum.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Hare; his sister, Bobbie Field; and his step-son, Steve Rogers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shelia, the love of his life for 30 years; his daughters, Kathrine Brockles and her husband Andrew of Dallas, and Charissa Henry and her husband Jim of Frisco; his son, Todd Garrett and his wife Rita of Austin; 9 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Ann Harris and Shirley Weldon of Shady Grove; and many other family and friends.
