Tammy Lynn Burns' Obituary
Tammy Lynn Burns, 39, of Longview, TX, left the world in God?s arms on May 20th, 2011.
Tammy was born August 3rd, 1971 to her parents Fay Moyer and Greg Bryant, Sr. She graduated from White Oak high school in 1989. She married her best friend Robert Burns Jr. on December 24th, 1998. Tammy lived her life to the fullest and was a loving, devoted mother, wife, and best friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends, watching her son, Cody, play baseball, and home-schooling her daughter, Haleigh. She enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, spending time at the lake, and breeding and raising golden retrievers. Tammy had a sweet smile and contagious laugh, and you were guaranteed to have a good time when you were in her company. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and will be missed by many.
Tammy is preceded in death by her ?Papaw?, Lewis Gregg; mother-in-law, Theresa Baldridge; and brother-in-law, Tony Baldridge.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Burns Jr.; her children, Haleigh and Cody Baldridge; step-daughter Krista Burns Puckett and husband Matt, of Astoria, Oregon; her mother, Fay Gregg Moyer; her father, Greg Bryant Sr. and wife Reesa, of Beaumont ; her grandmother Naomia Gregg, of New London; her brothers, Mark and wife Liz of Lumberton, Pvt. William Moyer of Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, and Andrew Bevill, of Lubbock; her uncle, Carl W. Gregg, of Lake Cherokee; her aunt Carolle McLemore of Leonard, Texas; her father-in-law, Robert Burns Sr. and wife Charlotte; her mother-in-law, Vivian Davis and husband George; her sister-in-law, Stacey Granger and husband Tom; her nieces, Natalie and Nicole Bryant of Lumberton and Lacey and Jennifer Granger; her nephews, Hayden Bevill, of Lubbock, and her step-grandson Austin Puckett; and many loving cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held Tuesday May 24rd from 6-8pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX. Graveside services will be held Wednesday May 25th 10:00am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in New London, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Autism Society of Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, 10503 Metric Drive, Dallas, Texas 75243.
