Tammy Laynette Bush's Obituary
Tammy Laynnette Bush passed away at the home of friends in Longview Texas on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the age of 46 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Tammy is preceeded in death by her grand parents: Dewey and Ada Reeves; Doyle and Viola Carlisle. Her aunt Francis Donath. And her parents Jimmy and Marian Carlisle.
Tammy is survived by her husband Darrell Bush of 27 years, her son Cody and Stepdaughter Amanda Church both of Longview. Her sister and brother in-law, Mark and Teri Ehl of Corpus Christi, TX. And her sister Debbie Drew of Longview.
Tammy is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and a large group of friends.
Tammy was born in Longview Texas on July 8, 1968. She came into this world as a premie and not breathing. But she was a fighter! As a child she participated in drill team with her sisters, Camp Fire Girls and softball. SHE graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1986 where she was a member of the Pep Squad. Tammy went on to earn a Certificate of Nursing from Kilgore College and had a long career in geriatric nursing as an LVN.
Tammy’s passion was for her family and friends. She worried about the needs of others more than herself. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, bingo, 4 Wheeler parks, watching Cody’s games. She loved George Straight!!! She loved the movie Grease, true detective tv shows…She loved to eat at Olive Garden!
