Susan Rene' Wallace was born on July 10,1968, in Longview, Texas, and passed away on April 21, 2025. As a native of Longview, she grew up in and graduated from Spring Hill Schools. She then received an education degree from Stephen F Austin State University. Susan began her teaching and coaching career in Tyler, then moving to Carrollton- Farmers Branch ISD. Susan returned to Longview for family and had her children, Rylee and Reid— the true loves of her life. She became a stay-at-home mother and focused on her home and family. She loved coaching and teaching the kids throughout their childhood. It didn’t matter if it was in the backyard or on an organized team, she loved both.
To Susan, summer was her favorite time of year. And… It meant enjoying long days at Lake Cherokee, her happy place on Earth. Rather it be with her kids, extended family or girlfriends, she was happiest on the boat and enjoying summers at the lake.
