Susan Thomas' Obituary
Graveside services celebrating the life of Susan Thomas, 73, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Memory Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Susan was born on December 31, 1950, in Longview, Texas to Willard and Helen Berryman. She passed away on January 27th, at her home in Longview, surrounded by her loving family.
Susan loved the beach in Destin, Fl. Loved her husband, kids and grandkids. They were her life!
She loved for her husband to take her riding around East Texas and stop at Dairy Queen to get a treat, and she also loved for her family to go to Kilgore to eat at Denny’s with Memaw. She loved planting flowers and sitting outside watching the birds. And she loved her dog, Charlie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard & Helen Berryman, and by a sister, Sharon Bullok.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roger Thomas; daughter, Bridget Edwards and her husband Curt; son, Jay Thomas and his wife Beckie; grandchildren, Carson Edwards, Kylie Thomas, and Preston Thomas; and by a sister, Vickie Coley and her husband Alton; sisters-in-law Sue Martin and husband Ruben Martin, and Jill Singletary and husband Lee Singletary.
