When I started with the Longview chapter of TASO I can clearly remember Sue as one of my leaders. She was hard on me and expected a lot out of me. Making sure all of my moves looked professional. Very intimidating! As I got to know her while calling games, being at monthly meetings or at a state meeting; she was fun, light hearted and just great to be around. It will not be the same walking in to any meeting without her at the table to greet me. It just doesn't seem real. Her journals on caring bridge were a true testimony of her love and trust in Jesus. She will be missed.##imported-begin##Haley Reitinger##imported-end##

Sue called both my daughters volleyball matches at Pine Tree a few years ago. She was very good at that job! Then her daughter Dena got to play for Nicole at Panola...she helped take that team to nationals. So I really got to to know Sue more while Dena was at Panola. She will be truly missed by the McCray family. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Busse family.##imported-begin##Darlene McCray##imported-end##

Sue was my mentor my first year of volleyball officiating. She was truly an inspiration to me as well as to others. She always carried herself with love, respect and admiration for others. She was an amazing woman! I will miss her dearly.##imported-begin##Lisa Woodfin##imported-end##
I had the honor and privilege of knowing Sue while working at the UIL. Not only was she one of the best volleyball officials in the state, she was also a wonderful person and friend. My heart and prayers go out to Dena, Max and the entire family. May God comfort each of you during this difficult time.##imported-begin##Rachel Seewald##imported-end##
