Sue Whitlow Glaze
Funeral services for Sue Whitlow Glaze, 60, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Friday, May 23, 2003 at New Life Baptist Church, 3001 West Hawkins Pkwy, with Bro. James Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends and a viewing will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening, in the church sanctuary. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mrs. Glaze was born on July 19, 1942 in Minden, La. to Leo and Clara Belle Whitlow. She passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 in a Longview hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Baptist Church.
A loving mother, wife and grandmother, Mrs. Glaze was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her husband, Carl Glaze of Longview, sons and daughters-in-law, Cecil Dees, Jr., and Moria of Sterlington, La., Rick Dees and Gina of Palestine, father and stepmother, Leo and Jeanice Whitlow of Shreveport, La. grandchildren, Rickey Dees, Jr., Steven Dees, Jacob Dees, Cody Dees, Cara Dees, Caitlin Dees, brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry S. and Linda Whitlow, Stanley and Esther Whitlow, stepchildren, Patricia Speegle, Christine Lewing, Faith Barker, Carl Glaze, Jr., Connie Wooten, Paula Keil, Judith Piepgrass, Glenn Glaze, and 36 step grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to: New Life Baptist Church Building Fund, 3001 West Hawkins Pkwy, Longview, Texas 75605.
