Sue Carol Lawrence's Obituary
Services for Sue Carol Lawrence, 79, will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, TX on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 10:00 am. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 5th 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Rader Funeral Home.
Sue went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1945, in Tyler, Texas. She married the love of her life Robert Hudson Lawrence, on August 15, 1962. Sue and Robert spent 54 wonderful years together. Their marriage was blessed with two children. Sue loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. In addition to loving her family, Sue loved the Lord and was active in her church throughout her life.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawrence; parents Elmer Roe Mink, Sr., and Dorothy Mink; brothers, Roe Mink, Jr. and Dennis Mink. Those left to cherish her memory, daughter Denise Clark and husband Ralph of Gilmer, TX; son Rodney Lawrence and wife Jeanie of Carthage, TX; grandchildren Jacob Crawford, Robert Crawford, Cadie Lawrence and Heather Clark Wilburn. Sue is also remembered by her great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Sue’s memory to a church or charity of your choice.
