Sue Bailey Jones' Obituary
Sue Bailey Jones was born on September 28, 1935, in Ash Grove, MO, and went to be with Jesus on September 15, 2023. Sue married Jimmy Jomes in June 1957. They had one daughter, Lisa. Jimmy preceded her in death in March, 2023.
Sue was secretary to the principal of Gaston Elembertary School for many years. She was also a talented pianist and used her gift to glorify God. She played piano at Turnertown Baptist Church for over 50 years. After retiring from active church service, she continued lifting up her friends and family to God through her card ministry and being a mighty prayer warrior.
Sue spent her final years in Arabella of Kilgore and Buckner Westminster Place in Longview. The family would like to thank all her dedicated caregiver at both facilities as well as Lisa Scrimpsher, FNP and Dr. Lijo John and staff at Texas Oncology.
No public services will be held. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Turnertown Baptist Church, Selman City, TX.
