Suda P. Smith's Obituary
Funeral Services for Ms Suda P. Smith of Longview will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Rader Funeral home Chapel in Longview with Chaplain Keith Hague officiating. Burial will follow with a private family ceremony at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Ms. Smith was born in Jonesboro La. May 4, 1931 to Dan and Sue Peel. She died Saturday May 19, 2014 in Kilgore Tx. She was a longtime resident of Longview.
Ms. Smith enjoyed her occupation as an accounting associate initially with Moore Brothers Lumber Company, before retiring from Perry D. Reed & Co where she encountered many long lasting friendships that sustained her for years. She felt truly blessed.
Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her fabulous siblings. Those include sisters Rebecca Loflin of Winnsboro La., Golie Franklin of Va. Beach Va, Barbara Garnett of Dallas, and Brothers Mac and Miller Peel of New Orleans La.
Ms. Smith is survived by sons Joey Smith and wife Laura of Tigard Or., Michael Smith and wife Cynthia of Longview, and Mark Smith of Arlington TX as well as grandchildren Jordann and Jacob Smith of Longview. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
