Steven Wayne Flaker's Obituary
After a lengthy illness, Steven Wayne Flaker went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2008. He was 67 years old.
Mr. Flaker was born September 7, 1941, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He drove the vac truck for the City of Longview, having retired in 1999. Mr. Flaker enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; brother, Jimmy Walter of Bellville, Ohio; daughters, Becky and Billy Potter of Lancaster, Ky., and Stephanie Crawford of Marion, Ohio; sons, Jim "Bo" and Dolly Cole of Portsmouth, Ohio, Randy and Terresa Cole of East Mountain, and Roger and Teresa Cole of Longview; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Flaker will be dearly missed. He is now an angel in flight to heaven.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at the funeral home.
