Steven K. Kent's Obituary
We say farewell to our beloved uncle Steven K. Kentana- Kent with a memorial graveside service Saturday August 8, 2015 at 10:00am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Jerry Hanson officiating. Cremation services are entrusted to Rader Funeral Home.
Steven went home to see the Lord on Sunday July 26, 2015. His wife of 51 years Frances survives him and resides in the state of New York. He was preceded in death by his mother Isabel Krey-Keegan, and sister Isabel Myers of Henderson. Survivors include his niece Celeste Landon and husband Mark of Troup, nephew Keith Henderson of Henderson, sons of niece Bryan and Brent Nations of Dallas, son of nephew Chris Henderson of Henderson.
Steven was a good Christian man who loved his family. He always wore his cross and was extremely compassionate by helping others in need. He worked for Brooklyn Savings and MT & A bank in Brooklyn , NY as a financial analyst for over 35 years. Mr. Kent was Catholic, and was a veteran having served in the US Navy. He enjoyed life and he never met a stranger. He will be sorely missed and we look for the day we will see him again.
