Mr. Steven Foster Fomby's Obituary
Steven Foster Fomby was born to Neal and Joyce Fomby on September 15, 1952 and died on May 24, 2014. He was 62 years old at the time of his death and he resided in Longview. He was preceded in death by his father, Neal Fomby and his brother, Joe Fomby. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Joyce Hagler Fomby of Longview; sister Gloria Whitehead and husband Richard of Dallas; brother Carroll Glenn Fomby of White Oak; nieces Allison Burnett, Cara Freeman and Caitlin Fomby; great niece Shelby Burnett and great nephews Cody Burnett and Caiden Beal.
Steve had a passion for motorcycles and Harley’s in particular. He will be missed by everyone.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be John Hagler, Blaine Hagler, Wayne Hagler, Clinton Hagler, Jr, Ryan Freeman and Michael Kavanaugh.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Sand Hill Cemetery in Gilmer with Roger Gage of Clarksville City Baptist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Sand Hill Cemetery Association c/o Jerry Putman 1279 Gardenia St Gilmer, Texas 75645.
