Steve R. Fillingim's Obituary
Graveside services for Steve R. Fillingim, 51, of Leesville, La, formerly of Beaumont, TX, will be 10 AM Wednesday at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake, Texas, with Don and Kevin Fillingim officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Broussard?s Funeral Home, 1605 Major, Beaumont, Texas. Rader Funeral Home, Longview, in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Fillingim died Sunday in the Shreveport VA hospital.
Born October 7, 1952 at Sour Lake, Texas, he was a grounds keeper for Cypress Bend Golf Course and was a member of the Baptist church. He served his country in the US Army from 1973 to 1984.
He is survived by his mother: Barbara Ellis of East Mountain, TX; Brother and Sister in law: Donald and Pat Fillingim of Temple, TX; Nephews: Kevin Fillingim of Huntsville, TX and Brian Fillingim of Carrollton, TX and a number of other relatives.
The family request memorials to Greggton Missionary Baptist Church or the American Cancer Soiety.
