Steve L. Dortch's Obituary
Visitation for Steve L. Dortch "Paw Paw" will be held at Rader funeral home on Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 2 to 4 PM. Mr. Dortch passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in Longview.
He was born on February 1, 1933, in Newark, New Jersey to Millard and Minnie Bell Dortch. Mr. Dortch joined the United States Army in 1950 and served in the Korean War. Prior to retiring, Mr. Dortch was a Senior Draftsmen for Axelson, Inc. in Longview.
Mr. Dortch is survived by his wife Dee Dortch , "Mee Maw"; two sons Roy and Jess of Longview; four grandsons; Micah and wife Joy of Frisco Texas, Steven and wife Amber of Longview; Jacob and Justin of Longview; two great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Lacie of Longview; two brothers Dr. Richard Dortch of Longview, Jimmy Dortch of Houston; two sisters, Jackie Farley of New Jersey, and Colleen Maulbeck of Sarasota, Florida
