Dr. Baker was our family dentist and always took good care of us. He and Lisa were always so kind, caring, and interested in our lives and family. I remember he always would make me laugh as a child. Thoughts and prayers for the family during this difficult time.
Just heard through a friend in Longview that Steve had passed. I live in Celina now outside of Dallas. Steve and I were dental colleagues in Longview for many years and had a few encounters on church basketball courts. I always admired Steve as a fellow dentist and outgoing friendly personality. He was always the type of guy you could easily talk to and “compare notes” about dentistry or anything else. God bless him and Lisa, too. Rest in peace. Well done, Steve-good and faithful servant! I was a patient of Steve’s for many years until he could no longer practice. He and Lisa were always upbeat and positive which made it pleasant to go to my dental appointments if there is such a thing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
I traveled with Steve to Belize to due missionary dental work on native Mayan Indians. I remember him as a hard worker and loving person. The world was a better place with Steve in it. Steve, you will be missed.
