Stephen Clay Nanny's Obituary
Funeral services for Stephen Clay Nanny, age 59 of Henderson, will be held Saturday June 11, 2011 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Patsy Barham officiating. Burial will follow in the Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nanny died June 2, 2011 in a Tyler hospital.
Steve was born May 7, 1952 in Henderson to John Edward and Margaret Nanny. He was a 1970 Graduate of Henderson High School, and attended Texas A&M University where he was a member of Mensa. He had a long accounting career with Marriott beginning in the 1970's. He retired in 2008 and moved back to Henderson. Steve was a member of the St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grandparents S.C. & Joel Cox of Henderson, uncles Sidney Cox, Ralph Cox, and Wayne Cox.
He is survived by an Uncle & Aunt Bobby Joe & Brenda Cox of Hohenwald, TN., Aunt Jackie Nanny Painter, Round Rock. Cousins, Kathleen Cox of Houston, Kelly Cox of Mobile, AL, Michael Huggins, Lafayette, LA, Robert Cox, Lafayette, LA, B.J. Cox Jr.
of Cedar Park, and Diane Boschult of Cedar Park.
Pallbearers will be Tom Summers, Bill Owens III, Rick Wilson, Richard Senasac, Mike Gazette, Gary Walter, Jim Kangerga, Terry Decker, and Sidney Riley. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Cox, Scott Wilson, and John Jordan.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 6~8pm Friday night.
