I had known Mrs. Peurifoy for a long time. She taught me bible class when I was young. She always had a kind and encouraging word to say and always had a smile. Stella was a wonderful person and a good friend. We were neighbors when we both lived at the retirement center in Longview . I will always miss her.

We had planned, just this past week, to locate a phone number for Stella and try to call her. For some reason she had been on my mind and we had not heard from her since she left Longview. She was, indeed,
