Stella McDonald Fanchier's Obituary
Services for Stella McDonald Fanchier, 95, of Longview will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 2:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home with the Reverend Dewayne Beaty officiating.  Interment will be at Memory Park.  Mrs. Fanchier died Friday evening at Good Shepherd Medical Center.
Mrs. Fanchier was born December 31, 1907 in Coleman, Texas to William Wallace McDonald and Phoebe Elder Grafa McDonald.  She was very proud of her Scottish heritage.  At the age of three.
Mrs. Fanchier moved to Cleburne, Texas where she later met and married Adrien Ehrman Fanchier
in 1930. The Fanchiers moved to Longview in 1932.
Mrs. Fanchier held memberships in the Cleburne chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Eastern Star, Iris Garden Club, Naomi Sunday School Class, and was a member of First Baptist Church for 71 years.  She also served as historian for many years in the Pearl Chappell Study Club.
Mrs. Fanchier was an avid doll collector.  She loved entertaining and received great joy in creating handmade gifts for friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, one son, David Ehrman Fanchier, one sister and six brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Simone Kibbe, two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Kem Kibbe and Kara and Richard Juhl; a great-granddaughter, Katherine Rose Juhl, all of Longview; one sister, Simone Faure? Barrett of Houston; two sisters-in-law, Olive McDonald of Cleburne and Marylyn McDonald of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews whom were all very dear to her.
Pallbearers will be; Richard Juhl, Chet Baker, Danny Mullen, Brown Holden, Robert Kibbe, Billy F. Martin, Arthur Fort and LeGrande Northcutt.
The family would like to extend grateful appreciation to Dr. Krishna Nayini, his nurse, Gina Garland, Dr. Robert Tompkins, his nurse, Linda Reed, and Mrs. Fanchier?s caregiver Barbara Weaver for her kind and loving care.
