Stella June "Bruce" Gray's Obituary
Funeral services for Stella June Bruce Gray, 91, of Longview will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Mel Spencer, Jr. and Ritchie Hamm officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gray was born December 18, 1924 in Burkburnett, TX to W.S. “Bill” and Masa Bruce and passed away Monday, January 18, in Longview. She was a graduate of Longview High School and received her B.S. at Stephen F. Austin University. She taught school at Jodie McClure Elementary for 30 years and substituted for many years after her retirement. She lived in Longview in The Rock House where she farmed for most of her life. She was a member of the Pine Tree Church of Christ and a Lifetime Member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Those left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter, Lauren Chrissy Gray of Longview; sister-in-law, Laurine Nichols of Chireno, TX; nephew, Terry Bruce of Electra, TX; and host of other family and friends. She is also survived by her poodles, Trixie and GiGi.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Gray; daughter, June B. Gray; and brother, Max Bruce.

and Mark Busbee
