Starla Jo Baird's Obituary
Funeral services for Starla Jo Williams Baird, 46, of Baytown, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2008, at the New Life Tabernacle in Price with Rev. Tony Lewis, Rev. Steve Zorich and Jerry Webb officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Baird died Sunday, February 24, 2008, in a San Jacinto hospital.
She was born August 25, 1961 in Dallas, Texas and was a long time resident of Arp. She attended Carlisle Schools and Ross S. Sterling in Baytown. She received a diploma in medical transcription from Tyler Junior College. She married Joe Baird November 13, 1997.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hubert and Faye Tennison Williams and Thomas and Dora Bosher Moore.
Surviving are her children; Kristy Longstrength of Mobile, AL, Randy Crain of Clear Lake, Kandy Long of Baytown, and Lethan Baird of Arp; father, Joseph Williams of Good Springs; mother and stepfather, Daphine and Thomas Hall of Baytown;siblings, Evelyn Webb of Mt. Vernon, Melinda Padgett of Baytown, Karen Casto of Baytown, Glorida Owens of Mt. Enterprise, Gary Joe Lyn Williams of Rusk, Marcie Fuller of Nacogdoches, Vickie Mathis of Clear Lake, and Lynn Aycock of Clear Lake; and 7 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Moore, Gary Williams, Wesley Williams, Loy Williams, Gary Joe Lyn Williams, Brandon Webb, Rodney Hall, and Paul Bell.
Visitation will be from 11:00 until service time Thursday at the church.
