Stanley E. Willis' Obituary
Services for Stanley E. Willis, 71, of Longview will be held in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery. Mr. Willis passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011 in Longview. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
Mr. Willis was born to Stanley and Earlene Willis on May 7, 1940 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He married Danell Stephens on December 18, 1976. He graduated from Forsan High School in 1959 and attended Jr. College in Big Springs, Texas. Mr. Willis was drafted into the army and served for four years. He moved to Longview in 1974 and was employed by Texas Eastman from 1974 until retiring in 1996. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Corrina Mae White and Marketta Fay Wright.
Mr. Willis is survived by his wife Danell Willis; special nieces Nikki Hunter and Debbie Stafford; brothers and sister-in-laws Tommy and Marva Willis of Midland, Texas, Fred and Candy Willis of San Saba, Texas, Jacky and Marci Willis of Crane, Texas; mother-in-law Burnice Stephens; sister-in-law Barbara and husband Donald Stafford; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Margaret Schottstaedt, Dr. Stacey Holder, and Dr. Julia Archer, and all the nurses at Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House, Diana, Patsy, Wanda, Debbie and Jamie.
