Graveside services for SSgt Carlos Bradley ?Brad? Coker, 29 formerly of Las Vegas, NV will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 15, 2005, in White Oak Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Brad was actively serving his country with the United States Air Force, as a member of the United States Air Demonstration Squadron, the ?Thunderbirds?. For his dedicated service, the ?Thunderbirds? along with the Barksdale Air Force Base Honor Guard will present full military detail at the graveside service.
Brad was born on May 13, 1976 in Phoenix, AZ. to Carlos ?Buddy? and Donna Coker. He passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2005 in San Diego, CA, from injuries sustained in a house fire.
A loving son, brother, and grandson, Brad is survived by his parents; brother, William Cary Coker of San Diego; sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and Desmond Garcia of San Antonio; their daughter, one very special niece, Bryana Nicole Garcia; grandmother, Dorothy Coker of Longview; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family requests that memorials be made in honor of Brad to: American Cancer Society, Gregg North Unit, PO BOX 906, Longview, Texas 75606, or to a charity of choice.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at the funeral home, 1617 Judson Road.
