Shirley Ann Rohrbach
Shirley Ann Rohrbach, 71, died on Sunday, June 5, 2016 in Austin, Texas. She was born December 5, 1944, in Longview, Texas.
She was a beloved member of New Diana ISD and the New Diana community for 36 years and a member of Judson First Baptist Church.
Shirley is survived by three children: Shane Rohrbach and his wife Jodie of Tyler, Lee Elmore and his wife Gail of Pflugerville, and Sheri Perkins of Gladewater; Siblings: Mary Wade of Longview, Carolyn Williams and her husband Gregg of Longview; and James McWhorter and his wife Debbie of Greenfield, Indiana; Her Aunt Susie Stone and her husband Harold Wayne of Longview as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Six beloved grandchildren whom she adored: Brandon and Justin Elmore of Moore, Oklahoma, Michelle Huff of Mineola, Nikki Windham of Yukon, Oklahoma and Carter and Kinley Rohrbach of Tyler, Texas. And one great granddaughter, Teagan, of Mineola.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James "Preacher" and Lucille McWhorter and the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Rohrbach.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the New Diana High School Auditorium with Reverend Tim Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are: Justin Elmore, Brandon Elmore, Carter Rohrbach, Richard Lee Densman, Jeffrey Williams and Andy Williams.
Shirley was the most kind-hearted, Christian woman and was so loved and will be missed by many. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord, her parents and the love of her life.
