Graveside services for Shirley Jordan, 77, of Longview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Friendship Cemetery in Gladewater with the Reverend William Dee Daniel, Pastor of Martinsville First Baptist Church, Martinsville, TX officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Saturday, April 6, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jordan was born March 24, 1936 in Houston. She was a resident Longview since 1975 and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Gladewater. Mrs. Jordan was employed with Wal-Mart on Fourth Street in Longview and was a former housekeeping supervisor for Longview Regional Medical Center. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Jordan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Rick Jordan and wife Jules of Dallas, Randy Jordan and wife Janet of Hallsville, and Angela Jordan of Longview; grandchildren, Kyle Jordan and wife Danielle of Longview, Klint Jordan and wife Michelle of Katy, TX and Chase Jordan of Hallsville; great granddaughter, Addison Jordan; brother, Jim Heitmann of Houston; and sister Mavis Hinton of Mt. Pleasant.
