Shelia Jean Stokesberry's Obituary
Shelia Jean Stokesberry, 69, of Longview, passed away on November 11, 2022, at her home. She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on December 16, 1952, to Dewey and Agnus Murphy. Even though she fought a brave battle with cancer, she lived life to the fullest. She loved life, shopping, and Jesus. Her hobbies included cooking, crafts, knitting and crochet. She was very smart and talented and she could do anything she put her mind too.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James “Jim” Lee Stokesberry; her son, Marcus “Mark” Laveile Murphy; her sister Robin Wilson; and her brother Mike Murphy.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Horton; son Jeremiah “Jerry” Stokesberry; son Carl Douglas “Doug” Stokesberry; sister, Sharon Givens; sister-in-law Sharon DeHoff and husband Lawrence “Larry” DeHoff; grandchildren Ricky, Gray, Tevar and Selena Stokesberry; Dakota True; and 5 great grandchildren.
A lovely soul entered Heavens gates. She was a beautiful and talented lady and she will be deeply missed.
