Shelia Brock Sims' Obituary
Shelia (Brock) Sims, gained her Heavenly wings on Dec 22, 2023, Shelia was born April 1954, in Evergreen, Alabama, to the late Tommy Brock Sr, and Shirley Camp.
Shelia graduated from Longview High School in 1973, from there she had worked at various jobs, before starting to work for herself, in her last years she cared for her mother who was diagnosed with dementia.
Shelia had battled different health issues throughout her life, the last being diagnosed with cancer and having a stroke, she survived both of these, but some of the lingering effects finally took its toll. Shelia never gave up and did anything she put her mind to, nothing could ever hold her back.
In Dec 1980, she married the love of her life, Bobby Sims, with whom she spent 43 years of marriage to.
Preceding her in gaining their wings was her father, Tommy Brock Sr., mother Shirley Camp, and her grandparents.
She is survived by her loving husband Bobby Sims, Longview, sister Judy Brock, Lufkin, brother Tommy Brock, Longview, Special nephew Matt Brock, numerous Brother and Sister In Laws, as well numerous nieces and nephews, and her special fur baby Taz.
Visitation will be Jan 6, 2024 at 1:30pm, with graveside services to follow at 2:00pm, at Walnut Creek Cemetery, In Diana Texas.
