Sharon Lea's Obituary
Sharon Louise (Ray) Lea, was born February 5, 1941, in Farmington, New Mexico to Joseph and Voncile (Baird) Ray, entered her heavenly home on June 2, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones in Longview, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jackie Leon Paris Lea, and her devoted children, Laronda Lea, Wendy Lea (Greg) Butler, Sharissa Lea (David) Barrett, and Aaron (Katie) Lea, eight grandchildren: Andrew, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Tyler, Madison, Jack, Jonas, and Lucas, niece Alayna (Lamar)
Cox, and two great-grandchildren Abram and Liam. Her father, brother Jay Ray, mother, and sister Linda Ray preceded her in death. A wonderful mother and wife, who loved her Savior Jesus Christ was kind to all. “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” (Proverbs 31:28) “Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou has been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” (Matthew 25:23)
Services for Sharon Lea will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services at Memory Park Cemetery in Longview, Texas. Visitation is Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas.
