Shannon Roy Mahaffey's Obituary
Funeral services for Shannon Mahaffey, 42, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the McCoy Funeral Chapel in Sweetwater, Texas.Burial will be in Longworth Cemetery.
Mr. Mahaffey died Friday, September 19, 2008.
He was born January 29, 1966 in Sweetwater and had been a resident of Henderson for 10 years. He was an operator for Luminat Energy and attended Liberty Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Mahaffey.
Surviving is his wife Sandy Mahaffey of Henderson; daughters, Kelsi Mahaffey and Hootie Mahaffey, both of Henderson; mother and step-father, Joy and Frank Newman of Sweetwater; brother, Steve Mahaffey and wife Penny of Sweetwater; sisters, Sheila Brock and husband Jack of Midland, Sharon Morrow and husband Johnny; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jason Wheeler, Monty Guy Bridges, Shane Smith, Wesley Harris, Clifford Williams, and Mike Alvarado. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Bartley.
Visitation will be at Rader Funeral Home , Henderson on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM and Sunday from 2 to 4 PM.
Visitation will also be held on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
