Shalene Sosland's Obituary
Shalene Sosland, beloved sister and aunt, passed away on April 25, 2011, in Omaha, Nebraska. Shalene was born on February 7, 1955, in Longview, Texas to Dawn and Jay Sosland. She graduated from Longview High School and attended Stephen F. Austin State University. She was a life member of National Council of Jewish Women. Shalene is survived by her siblings Marty Sosland and wife Karen, Steve Sosland and wife Kelly, Erica Prager and husband Bill, and Jayna Sosland and husband Allen Hearne, and by her nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Memory Park Cemetery, 2823 E. Marshall Avenue in Longview at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29. The family suggests memorials to Jewish Family Service, 333 South 132nd Street, Omaha, NE 68154; Temple Emanu-El, P.O. Box 6511, Longview, TX 75608-6511; or the charity of your choice.
