Saundra Ann Fort Lloyd
Funeral services for Saundra Ann Fort Lloyd, 66, of Longview held at 2 PM Wednesday, February 20. 2002, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend David Lanagan and Chad Shaw officiating. She died Sunday, February 17, 2002 in a Longview hospital. Mrs. Lloyd was born July 23, 1935 in Waco, Texas, to Foster W. and Jean C. Fort, and grew up in Longview. In December 1954, she married her late husband, ''L. A.'' Lloyd. They spent several years abroad with the United States Air Force, and returned to Longview in 1966. She was a retired medical/lab technician from Laird Memorial Hospital in Kilgore, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Longview. Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brothers Foster and Lee Fort. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jud Powell of Texarkana; her son, Michael A. Lloyd of Longview; step-daughter, Jeannie and her husband Dave Kirby of Lakeport; granddaughter and her husband, Connie and Jeremy Miles of Kilgore; grandson, Logan Powell of Texarkana; great grandchildren, Kayson and Kaleb Miles of Kilgore; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Mayo Lanagan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur and Sue Fort and Gene and Joyce Fort; sisters-in-law, Sharon Fort and Myrtle Fort; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be mead to the American Heart Association, Gregg County Division, P.O.
