Services Sarah ''Billie'' Cook, 85, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock Am Thursday May 16, 2002 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with the Reverend?s David Lawson and Ronnie Starr officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Cook died Tuesday May 14,2002 in Longview.
She was born January 31, 1917 in Athens, Georgia to Robert and Bonnie Carter who precede her in death. She had lived in Longview since the early 1930?s. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law,Bobbie & James Burcham of Longview; Lynda Grizzle of Longview; one son and daughter-in-law Nathan and Cathy Cook of Bryan,Texas; 7 grandchil-dren and 7 great grandchildren and sev-eral nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jasper Leon Cook in 1986.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday May 15, 2002 from 7pm until 9 pm.
