Sarah Ann Fuchilla's Obituary
Sarah Ann Fuchilla
On July 5th, 2017 God claimed his angel, Sarah Ann Fuchilla home. Born in August of 1949 in Baytown, Ann was raised in Beaumont but considered Sabine Pass her second home town. Well respected by those closest to her, Ann commanded admiration through her hard work and determination. As a nurse for many years at Good Shepherd, Truman Smith Children's Hospital, Texas Home Health, and a correctional nurse for Galveston County, she was cared for during her final hospital stay by her past co-workers.
Ann was best known for her love for family, but especially her grandchildren and her animals. Always going out of her way to accommodate and nurture, Ann was determined to provide all she could for those around her. She spoiled them all!!!
She is survived by her husband of 36 years Michael "Fugi" Fuchilla of Harleton, sisters Jima Irvin of Galveston, Mary Armstrong of Terrell, and Alice Reid of California, her daughters Trisha Frake, Bridgette Hewitt, and Celeste Zimicki all from Longview and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Stacey Donnell, grandson Daniel Clinton Cameron, sister Sue Sartain, and brothers "Buddy" Keith and James Miller Keith III.
We ask close family and friends come honor her life in Harleton this Sunday, July 9th from 1-5p for a "Celebration of Life" gathering.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Longview Animal Care & Adoption Center located at 303
H G Mosley Parkway, Longview, TX 75604.
