Funeral services for Sarah D. Wimber, 96, of Longview will be held at 10:00 o'clock AM Monday, August 4, 2008, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Chaplain Dottie Bachtell officiating. Interment will follow in White Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Wimber passed away Thursday July 31, 2008 in Longview.
She was born June 3, 1912 in Screven, Georgia to James A. and Della Head Aldrich and they preceded her in death. She had lived in Longview since 1990, and was a member of the Red Bluff Baptist Church in Soperton, Georgia.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Strickland of Longview, Harold K. Wimber II and wife Juanita of Soperton, Georgia, Patricia A. Wimber of Warner, Oklahoma, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, August 3, 2008, from 7pm until 9pm.
