My favorite moments with Sarah were when she knew Richart was working long hours at the theatre and she would show up with Starbucks and a kiss.
I knew Sarah for almost 20 years. I was her math teacher in high school. She was incredibly intelligent and compassionate. She was beautiful and talented. I remember the first time I heard her amazing voice at a Trinity graduation. I was moved to tears by the angelic sound coming from such a young person. She was an old soul with wisdom beyond her years. I will miss her!
Sarah was one of the most precious people I have ever had a chance to share part of my life with. She lit up the room when she walked in, and never met a stranger. I will never forget the times we shared together. The many memories that I will take with me in my heart for the rest of time. She found joy in the simple things, a piece of art, or a pretty scenery. She loved Music, and although it has been many years, I will never forget one of her favorite artists Damien Rice. She found comfort in her Music, and had more songs on her iPhone that anyone else I knew. She loved her family, and took pride in making something great of herself. When she first went to Millsaps, she blossomed right from the start, and never looked back. You couldn't have talked her out of anything. She knew what she wanted in life. I can say that she was the most fun person to be around in any situation. I was only blessed with a Season of knowing this beautiful soul. But the times I was able to share, I am grateful for. It is with my condolences to her family, and I think we all can say that the world lost a great, beautiful person... Gone too soon. To Dr. Beck, and Ms. Janet, Anna & family, may you all find peace and comfort at this time.
