Sara Ann Bahr's Obituary
Sara Ann Wimberly Bahr departed this life on May 10, 2006 at Aline House Assisited Living in Longview, Texas. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Wimberly. Ann was born July 30, 1957 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Ann taught shcool for several years and enjoyed the challenge and rewards of teaching young minds. Ann loved scuba diving, golf, tennis, crafts, and travel. She will be remembered for her sweetness, positive attitude, and devotion to her family. She has been called the great encourager by friends. Ann leaves to cherish her memory her husband of twenty four years, Donald Bahr; her daughter, Ashley Bahr; son, Trevor Bahr of Hallsville; parents, James and Jean Wimberly of Dallas; and a host of friends and relatives. A memorial service will be held at First Methodist Church of Hallsville on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 3 PM. Interment will follow on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 2 PM at Sparkman-Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family would like to say a special thank you to the loving staff of the Alpine House in Longview, Texas who were so caring for Ann during the past two years.
